Here’s 2012’s first glimpse of the fruits of our labours from 2011. The track is called ‘Katherine’s Sleeping’ and is set to be a split 7” vinyl release with hip hop quartet and label mates Kids Unique, with their track ‘Seymour Evil’ making up the other side of the vinyl. ‘Katherine’s Sleeping’ will not be available to download and won’t be featuring on our 2nd album, so if you like it you better buy one of the 250 ltd copies available on vinyl at our gigs at the end of February and online from February 27th.

This will just be the first of many releases this year for Theatre Royal, we’ll have another single out very soon after this release with a handful of b-sides all available to download, then a 2nd ‘proper’ single with even more b-sides before we release our 2nd album in the summer. None of the b-sides or ‘Katherine’s Sleeping’ will be featuring on the album, so there is going to be plenty of Theatre Royal to wrap your ears round this year.

In the meantime we’ll be promoting this release with a series of gigs at the end of February and probably making fools of ourselves in the making of a new video. As well as that we’ve started writing album number 3. So if you like the single, spread the word and share the video and come and see us at one (or all of the gigs) that we’re playing alongside Kids Unique.
